Businesses looking to reduce energy cost and carbon dioxide emission will benefit from the quick online assessment which provides an initial overview of their sustainability status. Based on this information, a company can adjust activities to balance asset sustainability, cost, and customer service goals.
According to the US Department of Energy, commercial and manufacturing enterprises often spend over 80 percent of their non-labour operating and maintenance budget on energy. In addition to energy cost, companies have to deal with carbon emission taxes and other regulations tied to environmentally safe manufacturing and logistics.
The Infor Green Assessment consists of 20 multiple choice questions, feeding input into four quadrants of global asset sustainability, supply chain, product/service development and organisational readiness. Upon completing the assessment, a radar chart will display the current sustainability status of the organisation compared to the average scores of other organizations that have participated.
