Connection between the engineering and manufacturing aspects is one of the company's key requirements, along with handling complicated designs, meeting production and delivery times, and providing excellent post-sales support. The company belongs to Group Guascor, recently acquired by DRESSER RAND, which has worked with Infor ERP LN since 2008.
• As an industrial company that manufactures to order, Guascor Power must work in collaboration with suppliers and customers around the world, managing its assets and supply chain efficiently without overlooking profitability or neglecting legal requirements.
• Until now, the company used Infor ERP Baan IV. This tool helped Guascor handle changes successfully, as well as communicate these changes to the whole organisation and maintain a healthy financial status. Offers became more precise and less time consuming, as employees had improved access to information. The company also achieved better control over production costs and on-going projects.
• Since January 2011, Guascor has been using the latest version of Infor ERP LN, an ERP solution that enables the consolidation of all management applications into a single centralised system. Expected advantages include:
